We demand a fair continuation of the TS2023 program.

After the 2023 earthquakes in Türkiye, people who came to Canada on a 3-year open work permit through the TS2023 program opened by the Canadian government will be forced to return once their work permits expire.

TS2023 members arrived in Canada under great hardship and unprepared, yet for three years they worked, studied, lived and integrated. But three years is not enough time to build a life. TS2023 families want this program to continue in line with the natural course of life.

However, in its response to petition e-7288, Parliament stated that the program would not continue and directed people to alternative programs. After settling in here for all these years, we believe it is not fair for us to enter those programs like any newcomer, and we call on the government to continue this program fairly.

Therefore, until our demands are met, we will raise our voice and make it heard by everyone. We will share our action plans and organizing here with you.
